Thread-Leaved Sundew V2
Highlands, NC - 08 Aug 2020 See on Google Maps
While working from home during COVID I took a class on macro photography from Arizona Highways PhotoScapes. One of the techniques I learned was focus stacking where you take pictures with a very small depth of field focused on progressively further parts of the subject. This is a Sundew using 34 pictures each focused a little different from the last to create a picture with the entire plant in focus. It is a very cool technique and I spent most of the summer trying it on one plant after another.
