As I was leaving Marshall Beach after photographing the Golden Gate Bridge the sun was setting. A beautiful composition but the sun was too bright to make the sea waves disappear into foam. I used several ND filters - so many that I could not even see out the view finder. Many photos were not in focus but finally I struck the right combination. A 30 second shutter speed made the waves smooth creating a picture which looks like another world.
