Fish Tail

Pokhara, Nepal - 28 Aug 2019      See on Google Maps

Up for a trip to a hilltop for pictures of the Himalayas at sunrise. We were in Pokhara, Nepal and every morning I got up in the dark to ride out to see the mountains in the sunrise. And every morning it was cloudy and very hard to get a good picture. this is Machhapuchhare (or Fish Tail) which is a sacred mountain - the government does not allow anyone to climb. I was able to catch the very top as the sun reached through the clouds. ON a tripod so a slow shutter speed and ISO of 100.
