At the World Trade Center memorial in the middle of the day. So there was sun to deal with as I moved around. I found part of the South Pool memorial in the shade under a tree. Making the composition for me was the fact that someone had left a rose. You can see the names of the fire units memorialized. A freehand shot dialing back on the exposure because of the sunlight coming through the trees.
