Elves Chasm
Grand Canyon, AZ - 16 Aug 2023 See on Google Maps
During a trip on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon we stopped at mile 117 to explore Elves Chasm which was only accessible by a very hard - but short - hike. I fell here and suffered a few scrapes.
The stream, Royal Arch Creek trickles through this rock canyon creating the waterfall. I had to walk in the stream to reach this point in a slot canyon.
A tripod helped steady the camera for a long silky water shot. I also used a polarizer to cut the water reflections.
