Crested Saguaro

Wandering in the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix I came upon this crested saguaro. It was early in the day but the sun was already high so the light was a bit harsh. Instead of color I switched to black and white to capture the texture.

Armed with a 100-500mm lens I was looking for wildlife - but backing off to 100mm was able to capture this beautiful saguaro. And the little cactus wren in a hole near the bottom edge of the picture.
