Moss

Highlands, NC - 25 Aug 2021

In our backyard are a couple of stumps we left after cutting down dead trees - the birds like them and the moss takes over the sides and top. At the height of the summer I set up a tripod and a macro lens to get close to the blanket of green. There was no wind and a bit dark in the trees but with the tripod I was able to capture the moss leaf.
