Beautiful Water

Luang Prabang, Laos - 26 Feb 2023      See on Google Maps

We were in Luang Prabang, Laos and visited the waterfalls at Kuang Si. We had skipped breakfast to get there early and avoid the tourists. It was a great move as it was still too early for tourists. There was one person ahead of us. The 150-foot falls was spectacular.

The layered rock and blue water reminded us of Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon.

The lack of people allowed me to setup a tripod on a bridge - which was not very stable. Due to the tripod I was able to take a long shot of 1/13 of a second making the water silky (something Virginia Ann does not care for). We then walked along the stream which had many more great spots for waterfall photographs.
