Green Tree Frog

Palmetto State Park, TX - 13 Apr 2019      See on Google Maps

I was focused on taking pictures of wildflowers at Palmetto State Park in Texas and almost missed this little frog. He (or she) was very cooperative and stayed still for several minutes so I could create a composition. It is an American Green Tree frog and the isolation on the single palm frond was done with a very wide open aperture to make the background abstract. Because the frog was so still I could take a long time to ensure enough light at ISO 100 - 1/19th of a second.
