Virginia Ann and I were traveling in a north Scottsdale neighborhood - looking at homes for sale when a coyote crossed the road ahead of us.  I had my camera handy but not ready for a photo so there were some anxious minutes while i removed the lens cover and prepped the camera ISO and settings.  I was able to snap off two shots before he disappeared back into the brush.  I was lucky as the light was over the car and the coyote was on my side of the car. 

I love the light on his coat.  A good reason to carry a camera wherever you go.
