While prowling around the desert near a golf course there were many desert animals about.  But they were hard to catch in the camera.  I came around a stand of brush and a desert Jackrabbit was in a clearing.  As I brought my camera up he sat up and began a race for cover.  This is shot was just as he stood up.  I had one more shot but he was gone.

I spent about 2 hours hunting in this spot - this shot was the best.
