Shooting in a park off the Chattahoochee River I was walking on a boardwalk through river marshes. Watching for birds I was moving very slowly and quietly (at least for a 200 pound 6' 4" photo dude) when this Blue Heron flew into a marsh nearby.  I crept up and began composing a shot - then heard the pounding footsteps of children running down the boardwalk.  Quickly I snapped this capture - and immediately afterward the heron flew away.

I would have liked to expose the heron a bit more - if I had time.
