Dia de Muertos Beauty

Austin, TX - 22 Oct 2011      See on Google Maps

My first Day of the Dead parade in Austin, TX. I did not know what to expect so i took two cameras - one with a 24-105 and one with a 70-200. There was street photography everywhere. I did not have a flash so very high ISO and the resulting noise. I am fascinated by the face masks - and clearly the people who go to that trouble are will to pose for photographs - of course people photography is not my forte - but this young lady stopped during the parade and posed for me. Next time - I will bring a flash.
