Orange Mist

Highlands, NC - 26 Jul 2021     

Waiting for sunrise on a North Carolina mountain I watched the light slowly creep into the valley below. There was some ground fog and as the light hit the trees it created pretty highlights in the forest. I was zoomed in on the tree surrounded by light. Pretty easy as I had a tripod. I took some nice sunrise pictures over the mountains but liked this photo best.
