Deep Beneath the Sea

Austin, TX - 21 Jun 2014      See on Google Maps

During a workshop on using your macro lens I had the opportunity to photograph this Golden Rabbit Snail. He was in an aquarium and I had to position him to get a good head on shot. Despite being a snail he was always moving, I finally had him positioned "ok" and he seemed to like the rock. I had to set the lens close to the aquarium glass to avoid any reflection issues. I really like his small black eyes on the yellow body.
