High Monastery

Paro, Bhutan - 05 Sep 2019      See on Google Maps

While on vacation in Paro, Nepal we had to visit the Tiger's Nest Monastery. It is built on a cliff which is at the end of a 3 hour hike which includes a vertical climb of 1,700 feet - we were exhausted. I easily took 1000 pictures as I hiked up/down the trail and there were various views of the monastery. It was cloudy all day but near the afternoon the clouds broke. I carried my tripod all the way so all pictures were low ISO and could take long shutter speeds to get correct exposure. We took the rest of the day off to rest.
