Pretty Dune

We sought out spots to take the larger dune in the setting sun. After sunset, there was a burst of color that painted the big dune in unique light. Exceptional to be in the middle of nowhere with no sound and the beautiful sand. There was little color in the sky as there were no clouds. The sand was so pretty and the guide said it was different every year. We hiked out in the dark and wandered a bit from the jeeps. Due to the long drive back, we stopped in Shoshone, CA at the Crowbar Cafe. There were only four buildings in Shoshone, so expectations were low, however, the food was good.
