The sunset light filters into the Grand Canyon and touches some of the canyon rocks.
Canyon Light
Grand Canyon, Arizona, United States - 31 May 2025
On a short trip to the Grand Canyon I was able to spend sunrise on the South Rim. Using a 100-500 telephoto I was able to find light playing across the canyon walls. I love getting in close to the giant rock formations. Using a tripod i was able to keep the ISO low at slower shutter speed. I took advantage of the rising sun to capture the shifting shadows. I walked over 5 miles of the canyon South Rim looking for compositions. A great morning.
